Day 1

Porto and Vila Nova di Gaia

Arrival in Porto in the morning.
Transfer from the airport / train station.
Check-in at the hotel.
Meeting with the group at 12:00
Sightseeing walk around the city center:
- Sao Bento train station (azulejo mosaics).
- Cathedral, streets of Ribeira.
Walk along the Douro River.
Crossing the Luis I Bridge to Vila Nova de Gaia.
Visit to a winery with port wine tasting (included in the price).
Free time for an evening walk.

Day 2

Douro Valley: Peso da Regua

Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning departure to Peso da Regua (≈1 h 30 min) along a picturesque route along the Douro River.
Walk through the winery with a guided tour (included in the price).
Picnic lunch with gorgeous views and tasting (included in the price).
Walk along the old streets of the town.
Return to Porto.
Free evening.

Day 3

Aveiro and Costa Nova

Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning departure to Aveiro (≈1 hour from Porto).
Sightseeing tour of the city.
Canal cruise on a moliceiro barge (included in the price).
Visit to the salt mines (included in the price).
Master class with tasting of the famous ovos moles sweets (included in the price).
Group lunch (included in the price).
Walk along the beach with colorful houses on Costa Nova.
Return to Porto by 18:00.
Transfer to the airport.

Transfer:

Transfer from / to the airport is provided from 8:00 to 21:00 (Lisbon time) on the tour days. If you continue the tour on your own for a few more days, transfers are not provided for this time.

Tour cancellation or rescheduling:

A 100% refund is possible if the tour is cancelled no later than 3 weeks before the start of the tour.
A 50% refund is possible if the tour is cancelled no later than 15 days before the start of the tour.
In other cases, no refund is provided.

TOUR SCHEDULE 2025

Please note that the tour starts on Wednesday and ends on Friday. The excursion program starts on Wednesday from 12:00. The end of the tour is on Friday at 18:00 in Lisbon. Then the bus takes you to the airport. Accordingly, your arrival in Lisbon should be on Wednesday morning, and departure on Friday late evening.
